The Republican State Enterprise “Karlygash Kindergarten” of the Medical Center of the President's Affairs Administration of the Republic of Kazakhstan (hereinafter referred to as the Enterprise) is positioned as the leader of preschool education in Kazakhstan, which develops and cares for preschool children.
The company is represented by three kindergartens, which have their own characteristics, differences and advantages over other preschools. In particular, kindergartens are distinguished by their organizational and legal peculiarities, structure and staffing, the availability of qualified teaching and medical personnel, a modern infrastructure and environment, and their own fund of internal regulatory acts and teaching aids.
The total design capacity is 750 seats. Overall, 32 groups function due to the republican budget. The Karlygash-1 kindergarten has 1 (one) group on a commercial basis.
The learning environment of the kindergartens has integrated interactive communication technologies - “talking” walls, centers of children's activity, robotics labs, aqua and hydroponic installations.
Highly qualified teaching staff are one of the main resources of kindergartens. More than 80% of teachers have a category, which ensures high quality of learning and training.
Kindergartens’ children often become winners of international intellectual and art contests, demonstrate excellent performance in the best state and international schools of the country: the republican school of math and physics, NIS, Daryn School, specialized school-lyceum for gifted children, Astana International School, Kazakh National Academy of Choreography and KTL "Nurorda".
Within 10 years since its opening, the kindergarten teachers have studied the best preschool education practices across the world and have been applying them in daily practices. Innovative teaching methods, such as target language immersion, multimedia technology for intellectual development, the Voskobovich’s games, Montessori methodology, robotics basics and other methods are an integral part of the educational process.
Extracurricular classes are arranged to develop kids’ artistic, intellectual and physical abilities, and organize their leisure activities.
In order to improve the quality of domestic preschool education, the Enterprise has started sharing its best practices with other preschools and arranged a few workshops. Thus, over 200 educators from preschools across the country attended the Karlygash kindergartens’ workshops on 26 April and 15 June 2019 and learned effective methods of developing children's competences needed for the 21st century.
The Enterprise is the only state preschool organization in Kazakhstan, which has a Quality Management System Certificate of Conformity ST RK ISO 9001-2009. The kindergartens have been identified as the leading education organizations upon the outcomes of the State attestation for compliance with the requirements of the State compulsory standard of preschool education and training.
